Overwatch 2 Survey Asks About $45 ‘Final Price Unknown’ Skins
A survey that caused waves in the Overwatch 2 community “is not an indication of the final price,” a spokesperson told IGN, as Blizzard looks to showcase a version of the popular shooter. no loot boxes.
Blizzard’s statement follows a survey’s report, first recorded on Twitter by @Portergauge, ask players if they are willing to pay $45 for the new highest rarity of Overwatch skin in the upcoming sequel. The idea didn’t go down well.
“Oh, a friend of mine got an Overwatch survey for his account, some of the prices they’re measuring for OW2 are really expensive,” Portergauge said. “I hope this is just him getting one of the higher price surveys and not a sign that they are heading towards making that much money.”
The survey lists suggested prices for Weapons, Skins, and Charms, asking players if they would be willing to pay $44.99 for a mythical skin, $24.99 for a legendary skin, $29.99 for a bundle legendary or $9.99 for weapon charms or not.

Finally, Blizzard says that some of the suggestions in the Overwatch 2 survey are implausible – perhaps measuring player interest to find a point where the company makes money without scaring players off.
Overwatch 2 has caused a lot of concern recently when it was revealed that the upcoming sequel will basically replace the original game when it officially launches later this year.
