Overwatch 2’s first content pack includes base game and beta access, still expensive
Overwatch 2 will arrive on consoles and PC later this year as a free-to-play title in Early Access. With the change in business model, Blizzard Entertainment is now offering a bundle for the unreleased game with a variety of cosmetics and extras, including beta access. However, it will set you back to the full price of a game.
Priced at $39.99, Overwatch 2’s first content pack, called the Overwatch Watchpoint Pack, includes a game you can play right now. It’s the Legendary Edition of the original Overwatch that comes with some additional skins for the characters and is probably needed for the sequel to the pack; Buyers will also be given access to the upcoming Overwatch 2 beta, which begins June 28. When the game launches in Early Access in October, the Watchpoint Pack will cover the cost of the season ticket. First and foremost skins, in-game currency, and more.
