People over 60, vulnerable “Should be advised to postpone travel”: WHO
Geneva, Switzerland:
The WHO said in Tuesday’s travel advice on the Omicron coronavirus variant that people vulnerable to severe Covid-19 illness, including those over 60, should postpone travel.
“People who are unwell or at risk of developing severe Covid-19 illness and death, including those aged 60 years or older, or those with co-morbid conditions (e.g. heart disease, cancer and diabetes) ), should postpone the trip”. WHO said in a travel advisory statement on Omicron.
