Ingredients and Substitutions to Make Pink Champagne Margaritas
- Orange Liqueur – Grand Marnier is a cognac based orange liqueur. You can use that one or whatever type of orange liqueur you can find.
- Lime Juice – Fresh squeezed lime juice is always best! There’s just something better about the vibrant flavor. However, you can use store bought lime juice in a pinch- I’ll never tell!
- Tequila – Any type of blanco tequila works beautifully here… you can learn more in my Tequila Guide.
- Champagne – We used a pink sparkling wine in this recipe for the pretty color! Choose your favorite Champagne, Prosecco or any other sparkling wine – I used this sweeter Pink Moscato for this cocktail and it worked beautifully!
Variations
- Replace the lime juice with fresh squeezed orange juice or lemon juice.
- Try with your favorite champagne! This cocktail recipe works with a dryer bubbly bottle or your favorite sweet one.
- Replace the lime juice with fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and the orange liqueur with grapefruit soda for a sparkling Champagne Paloma!
