PPL announced as Administrator of the Year sponsor at November’s A&R Awards
PPL joined the party – register as a new sponsor for next month’s A&R Awards.
UK Music Licensing Company, recently paid $16.4 million to performers and copyright holders for Q3is supporting the Admin of the Year category.
PPL CEO Peter Leatham said: “It is a pleasure to support the A&R Administrator category at this year’s A&R Awards and showcase the key talent our industry has in this role. The A&R administrator is the backbone of the label team, working behind the scenes to ensure the development of well-managed sound recordings.
“Sometimes this is an unnecessary role, but an important one for a song’s future revenue stream. By ensuring comprehensive and accurate recording documents and credits, administrators help collective management organizations such as PPLs maximize ongoing royalty revenue as the track plays. Without their work, our industry would be significantly worse off, so we are proud to claim their precious role.”
