Redesign Subaru WRX range will open at $44,990 before on-road expenses$4000 increase on outgoing model.

Moving to the new Subaru Global Platform, the new platform WRX got a stiffer body and a new engine.
It is a turbocharger Boxer 2.4 liter four-cylindermanufacturing 202kW power and 350Nm of torque.
Power only increased by 5kW on the old WRX and torque remained unchanged, despite the increase in capacity from 2.0 liters.
However, said torque comes on track between 2000 and 5200rpm, meaning it’s available 400rpm earlier and hangs around 200rpm longer.
The new WRX Sportswagon replaces the old powered versions LevorgA nameplate still exists in Japan.
This is the first time that the WRX has been offered in a more utilitarian body style since it was split from Imprezaalthough the first two generations of the Impreza WRX were offered with a wagon-like body style and the third generation a hatch.

Engine
2022 Subaru WRX powered by a 2.4 liter turbocharged flat four engine manufacturing 202kW power 5600 rpm and 350Nm torque from 2000 to 5200 rpm.
It is mated to a six-speed manual or continuously variable transmission (CVT), however, the latter is available only on Sportswagon models.
Power is sent to all four wheels via an all-wheel drive system with active torque vectoring technology.

Subaru WRX 2022 used 8.5L / 100km on the combined cycle when equipped with a CVT and 9.9L / 100km with manuals.
The WRX requires 95 RON premium unleaded fuel and has a 63L fuel tank.
