“I cried once, at the burial. I detailed how strange it was and really, how guilty I felt, and I think William felt the same way walking around. outside Kensington Palace,” Harry told ITV Tom Bradby. “And there were 50,000 bouquets of flowers sent to our mother. And there we were, shaking people’s hands, smiling. I watched the videos. I watched them all. The wet hands we were shaking— I don’t understand why their hands are wet.”
Harry later explained, “It was all the tears they wiped away.”
