PSA: Diablo 4 Releases Today And Servers Could Be Kicked
Diablo 4 was officially released today, and if you’re planning to give it a go, you should expect that the game’s servers will be a little rough.
IGN’s sister site, Downdetector.com, shared user-reported outages for the game’s servers, but these crashes are not entirely new. Players have been reporting issues with Diablo 4 since its early access release five days ago. PlayStation 5 players who pre-ordered the $90 Digital Deluxe Edition or $100 Ultimate Edition reported a day after the early access release that a Error “Invalid License” locked them out.
Players also have extensive login problem last nightin spite of Blizzard said in a tweet this morning that these problems have been resolved.
Server issues haven’t stopped Diablo 4 from being a hit for Blizzard, as the company has confirmed that Diablo 4 will become Best selling game of all time. They also note that Diablo 4 players have run for 93 million hours, although Blizzard did not specifically disclose how many copies have been sold.
In our review of Diablo 4, which we gave 9/10We said Diablo 4 “is a stunning sequel with a progressive design and near-perfect game ending that makes putting down completely enjoyable.”
Of course, if you managed to not experience any server issues for Diablo 4 today and you’re looking to track your progress as you play, check out Our interactive Diablo 4 map.
