PSA: Final Fantasy 16 spoilers may leak online due to ‘Illegal Acquisition’
With less than a week to go until launch, Square Enix has confirmed that physical copies of Final Fantasy 16 have been leaked and that it is investigating the “illegal acquisition” and is ” take action to limit” the damage they can cause before the game launches. Release date June 22. So my friends, beware as there may be vandals in their path.
Square Enix shared the news on Twitter, and it also asks anyone who gets an early copy to please respect those who haven’t played by not sharing any screenshots or videos and not doing any live streams with the game for until June 22.

Square Enix wrote: “We are aware that a small number of Final Fantasy XVI hard copies are in circulation. “We are in the process of thoroughly investigating illegal acquisitions and are taking action to limit this before the game’s official launch on June 22.
“For those who received a pre-launch copy, we urge you not to share any aspect of the game, including screenshots, videos, and live streams, until after Final Fantasy has been released. XVI officially launched.
“Our priority is to ensure that the full game experience isn’t broken for our fans, and to do that, we’ll remove any images, videos, or streams that are released prior to the launch date. We ask for your support and cooperation in this finale last week before launch.
“It’s almost June 22, and we can’t wait for you to experience the full game the way the development team intended.”
