PUBG players say they fall madly in love only to end up in jail
Two Anonymous Player’s Battlefield (PUBG) the players could spend several years in prison for illegally crossing some South Asian borders to live together, according to recently New York Times report.
Seema Ghulam Haider is a 27-year-old Pakistani Muslim with four children. She met Sachin Meena, a 22-year-old Hindu man, in the battle royale shooter PUBG in 2019. The lovers on the battlefield grew closer as they battled for virtual victory, eventually moving their conversations to Instagram, WhatsApp, and other social media apps in 2019. 2020, according to New York Times. But then they clashed with the Indian authorities, and things quickly went south.

Haider and her children were charged with illegally entering India, while Meena and his father were charged with conspiring to cover for an “enemy”. Haider is a Pakistani Muslim woman and Meena is a Hindu man, and the Indian government condemns any interreligious relationship between the two religions.
“I don’t want to go back,” Haider told reporters as she was led away by police, according to New York Times. “I want to marry Sachin. I love him much. I leave everything to him.”
Meena also confesses her love to Haider. “We just want the government to allow us to get married and start a family,” he said.
Meena is not a rich player. New York Times reported that he worked a modest job at a corner store, earning about $100 a month. However, that doesn’t matter to Haider, who still wants to be with Meena.
Sudhir Kumar, head of Rabupura police station, India, said: “She knows that he is not strong enough financially. New York Times. “She was not impressed by his work, but by PUBG skill.”
The couple face possible sentences of several years in prison, after which Haider and her children could be deported. This whole thing is heartbreaking.
