Realme GT 2 Pro design revealed through introductory video, will come with three rear cameras, punch-hole display
The Realme GT 2 Pro, a flagship model in the Chinese brand’s upcoming flagship series, will launch on January 4 in the company’s home market. Ahead of the official launch, Realme shared a teaser video of the latest GT-series handset, revealing the design details of the phone. The video briefly introduces the screen, the presence of dual LED flash and the punch-hole screen design of the Realme GT 2 Pro. Realme has teased the handset in images revealing that it will feature a bio-based polymer design and a new ultra-wide sensor with a 150-degree field of view.
Myself, through his official Weibo account, has provocative Upcoming Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone in white shade. As mentioned, the handset is considered a hole for the selfie camera. It is located in the top left corner of the screen. In the video, the volume buttons are arranged on the right spine of the smartphone.
At the rear, a triple rear camera setup is seen accompanied by a dual LED flash. The rear camera unit also includes two 50-megapixel sensors. The teaser post does not include any specifications of the handset, but Realme confirms that the Realme GT 2 Pro will be a premium flagship customized for the youth.
Realme has announced that debut of the Realme GT 2 series will take place on January 4th at 11:30am CST Asia (9am IST) in China. Upcoming flagship series is supposed to include vanilla Realme GT 2 and the Realme GT 2 Pro variants. The landing page of the Realme GT 2 smartphone has been direct on the website of Realme China. The Realme GT 2 Pro has been confirmed by the company to pack a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC under the hood. Other specifications of the phone have been leaked several times in the past.
Recently, this phone has rise on China’s TENAA certification website with model number RMX3300. TENAA lists the key specs of the handset as 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display (1,440 x 3,216 pixels), in-display fingerprint sensor, 32-megapixel selfie camera, 5,000mAh battery and support 65W fast charging. It is said to come in color options of Cast Iron Black, Ice Crystal Blue, Light Blue, and Paper White. The TENAA listing also suggests two RAM and three storage options for the phone.
