Volvo Cars is an electrically charged repulsion. It wants 50% of global sales to be plug-in hybrids or electric vehicles by 2025 and plans to become all-electric by 2030.
Volvo Car Australia also want to reach the second goal sooner. According to a Volvo Car Australia spokesperson, the firm’s bank of orders as of April 30 consisted of 60% of Recharge hybrid and electric vehicle models.
10% of Volvo’s sales are Recharge models so far in 2022, and 21% April sales are calculated using the Recharge Plug-in Hybrid and Pure Electric variants.

Volvo Cars Global recently released its sales figures for April 2022, showing that sales of electronics from the rechargeable product line increased to 38.4% (18,097 out of 47,150 sales), an increase of 18.7% over the same month in 2021.
It seems logical Volvo will hit 50% of Recharge sales by the 2025 deadline, based on current trends.
Until the end of 2022, the Chinese-owned Swedish brand is planning to launch several new or updated Recharge models in Australia.

Rechargeable XC60
