Redmi Note 11S introduces to AMOLED screen sports ahead of launch in India
The Redmi Note 11S smartphone has been a part of leaks and rumors for several weeks now. The specifications of the Redmi Note 11S are yet to be officially confirmed by the Chinese smartphone brand. But before that, a tipper hinted at the display details of the upcoming Redmi Note series phones. Recently, Redmi India and Xiaomi Global Vice President, Manu Kumar Jain teased the launch of the smartphone in India on Twitter. The phone is not expected to appear in the Chinese market. Redmi Note 11S is expected to have a quad-core rear camera cluster with a 108-megapixel main sensor.
Screen details of the upcoming Redmi Note 11S phone are posted by famous tipper Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) on Twitter. According to the leak, Redmi Note 11S may use AMOLED panels. Redmi India official Twitter handle answered for the tweet saying, “We set high standards with the launch of Redmi Note in 2021. Why will 2022 make any difference?”. Based on this, it can be speculated that the company is likely to offer AMOLED panels for the latest handsets. However, the brand is yet to share any specification details of the Redmi Note 11S.
The launch of Redmi Note 11S has been recently provocative of Redmi India and Global Vice President of Xiaomi, Manu Kumar Jain on Twitter.
In addition, the alleged render of the Redmi Note 11S has leaked online. The leaked renders suggest that the smartphone will have a quad rear camera unit. The phone is equipped with a 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel Omnivision OV2A macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The Redmi Note 11S is said to have a punch-hole display with a centered cutout and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Redmi Note 11S is also said to be powered by a MediaTek SoC.

It was previously spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification website with model number 220111TSI, hinting at an imminent launch in India. The Redmi Note 11S was also spotted on the websites of Thailand’s National Telecommunications and Broadcasting Commission (NBTC) and Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) bearing the same model number.
