Republicans Are Blaming the Uvalde School Shooting on Porn. Porn Stars Think They’re Nuts.
The problems are real: lack of affordable housing, rising health care costs, inflation, underemployment. But these problems are all very complex and, frankly, not something Republicans pretend to have any plans to deal with. They are in the business of providing villains, not solutions. And, just a few days after a teenager armed with legally purchased AR-15 semi-automatic rifles and high-capacity magazines entered Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, and shot down 19 students and two teachersGOP lawmakers choose erotic as the antagonist.
Now, what do school shootings and porn have in common? Absolutely nothing. But that hasn’t stopped Governor Jim Justice (R-WV) from shifting responsibility to it (and, of course, the video game).
He speak before protesting the assault weapons ban.
Sure, that makes sense as a safety plan: take young men who suddenly lost documents to masturbate and give them guns. Feels pretty safe, doesn’t it?
Ohio Senate Candidate and Hillbilly Elegy author JD Vance preached a similar message after the Uvalde mass shooting, even calling for a total ban on pornography.
He open.
Has anyone told Vance that no one has ever asked for an abortion because of watching porn? Actual “interaction” is still required.
Vance’s goofiness is no surprise to adult actress Skye Blue.
“Most politicians are thinking of anything else to blame instead of being able to hold themselves accountable for the era they have created,” she commented. “If you want people to have children, let’s try to fix the real problems in our economy because I’m pretty sure anyone who watches porn is more likely to have sex than not. ”
“Most politicians are thinking of anything else to blame instead of being able to hold themselves accountable for the era they have created.”
Sex worker Liv Revamped agrees, explaining that pornography is just another form of entertainment.
“Honestly, it doesn’t make any sense. We are encouraging people to live a happy and sexually open life. How does that stop people from creating families? ” she asked.
In support of JD Vance, Congressman Paul Gosar (R-AZ) has called for the First Amendment to protect fragile pornography, which will send chills to pornland.
“When you talk about restricting the freedom to view pornography, you are also talking about restricting the freedom of any form of expression that could be considered offensive,” adult actress Jupiter Jetson warned. “The sex workers are the canaries in the coal mines. JD Vance and his ilks aren’t fighting to protect your family from the evils of bad guys – they’re fighting to keep you from communicating freely and openly with legitimate privacy rights. ”
No one disputes that adult content is great for marriage and family. After all, adult content that is intended for adults and should be consumed responsibly, such as alcohol and tobacco, competes with award-winning porn star Ana Foxxx. The former fashion model suspects politicians speaking out against porn are doing so for personal motives to weed out their own temptations (just ask Senator Ted Cruz of the GOP).
“It seems to be a personal matter. I think a lot of senators engage in pornography, have sex, or hire sex workers. They consume pornography and then feel embarrassed when the scandals are exposed. They want to remove pornography to help themselves,” she explains.
Remember that our President was before this person who signed on a platform porn branding a “public health crisis” before his allegedly tried with porn superstar Stormy Daniels become mass knowledge?
So why now?
If Republicans can blame everything on porn then that would take the conversation away from the actual issues at hand. It was an old magician’s trick – the art of misdirection.
Porn is not a gun, and watching porn doesn’t kill anyone. But making it the villain, it can cover all kinds of things real obscenity. Don’t let these slimy politicians steal your attention.
