Along with the new trailer, new gameplay details have been revealed for the upcoming Resident Evil Village: The Mercenaries Extra Order playable characters Lady Dimitrescu, Chris Redfield, and Karl Heisenberg.
The producer of Resident Evil Village, Tsuyoshi Kanda, shared information about PlayStation.Blog regarding the latest add-on to Resident Evil Village’s Mercenary mode that will be part of the Resident Evil Village Winter Expansion and Gold Edition.

Here’s a preview of what to expect from the three new playable characters in The Mercenaries Extra Order, which are included in both the Gold Edition and the Winters’ Expansion DLC.

One of the biggest draws to Replenish Orders will definitely be a playable version of everyone’s favorite 9-foot-tall villain, Lady Alcina Dimitrescu. When you become Lady Dimitrescu, you will be able to attack enemies with your long and sharp claws and a unique feature called Thrill Gauge. This stat will increase when attacking an enemy or by using the item “Lady’s Lipstick”.
As Thrill Gauge increases, Lady D’s movement speed and claw damage will also increase along with giving her access to new moves. When the gauge is maxed, so her damage will also be at its highest. Oh, and you can also summon one of Lady Dimitrescu’s daughters to help you in the fight.
Chris Redfield may not be 9 meters tall, but he is armed with some firepower and “heavy strength.” Chris has an Onslaught Gauge that will fill up when he takes down an enemy and he will then be able to activate his attack mode to dramatically increase movement speed, reload speed, and attack damage. He will also have access to the Target Locator, “capable of launching a powerful support attack.”
Karl Heisenberg is the last of the new playable characters and is equipped with a giant hammer and the ability to manipulate magnetic forces. By swinging the hammer, Karl can charge up to finally launch an area effect attack. His attack options also include the Magnetic Field ability to pull enemies closer to you and a way to summon a Soldier Jet to help you out.
Resident Evil Village: Mercenary Supplemental Orders is just part of the Winters’ Expansion Heading to Resident Evil Village on October 28, 2022. It will be joined by Village’s first story DLC in Shadows of Rose and Third person mode.
If this convinces you to pre-order, those will unlock the Street Wolf Outfit for Rosemary Winters to wear as you play through the Shadows of Rose storyline DLC. The outfit includes an iconic Chris’ Houndwolf Squad design.
