lamborghiniUpcoming Urus plug-in hybrid The “Super” SUV was once again caught before the previously confirmed launch time of 2024.
Once electrified urine goes on sale, it will go head-to-head with vehicles like bmw xmand Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid.
Our spy photographers captured this prototype Urus PHEV with a swirling black and white camouflage while parked in a grassy field. It was parked next to several other Volkswagen Group vehicles, as well as what appeared to be a Porsche Macan EV prototype.
This latest Urus PHEV prototype looks very similar in design to a recent spy examplewith reworked LED headlights and a tweaked grille design.
There is also a covered charging cap on the left rear wheel arch like all previous Urus PHEV prototypes.
This Urus PHEV prototype is still covered in rich camouflage, which could indicate that Lamborghini is currently hiding some changes. The interior is also covered.
It is hoped that future Urus PHEV prototypes will strip away the camouflage and give us a better look inside and out.
At this stage, it’s still unclear which engine will power the Urus PHEV, but it could share a plug-in hybrid powertrain with Porsche.
The Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid uses a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 combined with an electric motor and a 17.9 kWh lithium-ion battery, for a total system output of 500 kW and torque. 900 Nm.
This is 10kW and 50Nm more than The new Urus S is released it’s the “entry-level” version of the updated super SUV.
In addition to the Urus S, Lamborghini has also revealed the more casual-looking Urus Performante.
Both models are powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 that generates 490kW and 850Nm, which is sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Lamborghini previously said that it Launch of the first mass-produced hybrid vehicle in 2023with Lamborghini’s regional director for APAC, Francesco Scardaoni, recently confirmed this will be the successor to the Aventador.
This successor Aventador has been spotted before and will feature a naturally aspirated V12 with a plug-in hybrid system.
Urus PHEV and electrification Huracan successors will follow in 2024.
lamborghini electrification roadmap will culminate with the first all-electric vehicle, due out “in the second half of the decade.”
Mr. Scardaoni recently confirmed this electric vehicles (EVs) will have a 2+2 . seating configuration.
Previous rumors have indicated that it is a grand tourer that will look similar to the Estoque concept from 2008 and the Asterion concept from 2014.
