You might think 591 hp is enough for the Audi RS6 Avant, but that’s clearly not the case. In 2024, Audi decided to dial in, adding a new Performance model that promises 621 funky ponies. The new variant is also lighter, so acceleration should be strong enough. And yet, the RS6 Avant’s quest for more power doesn’t change anything about its impressive practicality, five-seater comfort in an interior packed with rich materials and trendy tech. There’s plenty of cargo space behind the electric tailgate. The RS6 Avant is still an appropriate choice among the sea of performance-oriented SUVs like BMWX5Mbecause the only real competitor of the station wagon is Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo. While the Porsche’s well-rounded look may appeal to some, the RS6 Avant’s rugged, angular design is also one of its biggest selling points.
What’s new for 2024?
The RS6 Avant gets a new Performance model for 2024, increasing the horsepower and torque of the V-8 while making some modifications to the chassis. The Performance model also shed a few pounds, using new Continental Sport Contact 7 tires measuring 285 wide and adding some new colors.
Price and which one to buy
While the Performance model adds more horsepower, the standard RS6 Avant still has a lot to offer, and you can equip it with all sorts of luxury options. Unless you want a gray car, you will have to pay extra for a different paint color. We will paint our beautiful Navarra Blue Metallic. We’ll also opt for the Black Optic package, which gives the car an even more aggressive look with black exterior details and trendy 22-inch wheels on summer performance tyres. Those who want their Avant to hit 190 mph will have to buy carbon ceramic brakes, but we’ll spend that money on the front massage seats and the Executive package (more leather upholstery, heated rear seats) , smooth closing of the doors and the display on the windshield). Engine, transmission and performance

Inside, the RS6 Avant embodies refined design and cutting-edge technology.
