Stonestreet Stables LLC’s Rising star TDN Beau Liam (Map of Liam–Belle of Perintown, by Dehere) has retired from racing and will stay for the upcoming breeding season at Brereton and Elizabeth Jones’s Airdrie Stud as a partnership between Stonestreet, Spendthrift Farm and Airdrie. Coached by Hall of Fame coach Steve Asmussen, Beau Liam has won his first three starts this season. Beau Liam will stand in the first season for a fee of $ 6,000 spectators and nurses.
Named a TDN Rising Star after his 7 1/2 debut at Churchill Downs, Beau Liam’s six-second run of 1:08 3/5 represents the fastest recorded pace of all time. with any girl at a distance in race history, earn a Ragozin Sheet 5 3/4. Stonestreet Farm consultant John Moynihan said: “This horse is an absolute monster. “Everybody saw what he did when he was three years old, but he showed us that talent at the age of two as well. I will have the same faith in Beau Liam’s stallion potential as when we retire Music by Maclean. He’s the special kind. He’s going to have a big chance at Airdrie Stud. ”
Asmussen added: “He’s just an amazingly fast horse. “I wish we had a chance to hit a Class I next to his name, but anyone who’s seen him run knows he’s at that level of talent.”
