ROAP Board of Directors elects officials for 2022-23

The Board of Directors of the Racing Officials Accreditation Program (ROAP) elected its 2022-2023 officials during a board meeting on December 6, held at the Global Symposium on Racing Officials. Racing in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. Jennifer Durenberger, Jockey Club Instructor for NYRA, elected ROAP chair; Frank Lamb, a ROAP-accredited manager was elected ROAP vice president; Wendy Davis, former director of RTIP at the University of Arizona re-elected ROAP secretary; and Kristin Werner, senior advisor at The Jockey Club, were re-elected as ROAP treasurers.
“I am delighted to take the helm of this organization at a pivotal time in our industry history,” said Dr. Durenberger. “Implementation of the Equestrian Safety and Integrity Act will present challenges and opportunities for our members, and we remain committed to upholding the integrity of equestrianism at all times. levels and for all horse breeds.”
