Rose Byrne Details “Special” Experience Working with Bobby Cannavale
Rose Byrne found her favorite co-star in Bobby Cannavale.
Two people — as an IRL couple — co-star in Tony Goldwynupcoming comedy of Inappropriate behaviortheir first joint project in two years, also a star Robert De Niro. In an exclusive interview with E! News, Byrne recalls sharing the screen with her partner and Oscar winner.
“It was really fun. We shot it in Jersey,” she said. “I haven’t worked with Bobby in a while. We’ve done a lot of projects together. But this is a really special one.”
Byrne added that “working with Bob De Niro has been phenomenal.”
In Inappropriate behaviorCannavale plays a man who has ruined his successful marriage and career as a late-night comedy writer to become a less successful comedian, according to Diversity. De Niro depicts his father. Cannavale’s character, at odds with his ex-wife over raising their neurotic 9-year-old son, kidnaps the boy and takes him on a cross-country trip.
Over the years, Byrne and Cannavale have worked together on films such as Beginner adults, Spy, Annie and upcoming movie Serious red.
