Roshni Chopra shares tips to give your balcony a chic winter makeover
Winter is approaching, and so is the cozy balcony weather. The chilly months are when you don’t want to get out of bed, but that warm spot on the balcony where the sun’s rays are direct can be a game-changer. So, why not create an aesthetically streamlined hug on your balcony where you can enjoy the winter sunshine in comfort? If you’re a gamer, we’re here with some great ideas to decorate your old space with new elements, thanks Roshni Chopra who recently took to Instagram to share tips for choosing outdoor furniture to make your balcony winter-ready.
“The balcony weather is cozy here and here are three things to remember before investing in outdoor furniture,” she says in the video.
* Removable cushion: The actor recommends using removable cushions because “these cushions make it easier to store and install.”
* Upholstery or weatherproof material for furniture: Bad weather can definitely damage your outdoor furniture. So “look for weatherproof upholstery because the furniture will last,” she suggests.
*Light interior: It is always a good idea to change the balcony decoration settings to avoid monotony. Likewise, Roshni suggests investing in lightweight furniture because it “allows you to play with different setups, while also being easy to move and store.”
Earlier, Roshni shared “an innovative way to reuse and infuse new energy into the home” using an existing copper vase and cup as a vase.
*First, get one copper glass.
* Stick some tape in the tested way to the open side.
* Put your favorite flowers in it.
“I hope this inspires you to continue your treasure hunt in your own home,” she wrote.
Roshni also shared why urli floats are such an important part of festive decor. “The water element is considered the element that attracts wealth and prosperity, abundance into the home. They say it is best to place it in the center of the house at the entrance. But, they look good everywhere,” she wrote.
If you don’t have a urli at home, she suggests adding a few floating flowers to a bowl of water. It “looks very nice and is said to be very auspicious”.
