Russia admits losses in the sinking of the battleship Moskva: One dead, 27 missing

Russia said on Friday that one crew member had died and 27 were missing following the incident Missile cruiser Moscow sunk last week, Moscow acknowledged its losses after the tragedy for the first time.
“As a result of the fire on April 13, the missile cruiser Moskva was seriously damaged by explosive shells,” the Russian Defense Ministry said.
“One soldier was killed, 27 other crew members are missing,” the ministry said, adding that the “remaining 396 crew members” had been evacuated.
