Russians reuse captured Turkish-made armored vehicle
The Russian Airborne Forces are reusing a BMC Kirpi wheeled armored vehicle, provided by Turkey, obtained on the battlefield in Ukraine.
A white V symbol was seen on the captured vehicle. It has become a symbol of support for the invasion by some Russians and others.
The Kirpi is a vehicle under the category MRAP (Mine Protected Armored Vehicle) developed by the Turkish company BMC and one that has now been seized by Russian forces.

According to some reports, such as one from Defense News, the Turkish government has delivered at least 100 used anti-mine and anti-ambush vehicles to the Ukrainian army. The delivery of the Kirpi was the result of a government agreement, not an agreement between Ukraine and BMC, the company that manufactures the Kirpi.
Ukrainian MP Yuriy Mysiahin said that the Turkish-made armored vehicle is equipped with a high-powered machine gun that can rotate 360 degrees.
With a total weight of 19,050 kilograms (41,998 pounds), this armored vehicle can travel at speeds of 100 kilometers (62 miles) per hour with a range of up to 750 kilometers (466 miles). Vehicles can be armed with 7.62mm or 12.7mm machine guns, and are also available with remote-controlled weapon stations.
