Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe fired when asked about the possibility of holding tank fights between Tank Davis, Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney in 2022. Ellerbe’s answer to that question was that. Not the big battles.
Then he said that Tanks will continue to fight in major skirmishes, which is an unusual answer because he has yet to participate in ANY major game during his eight-year professional career.

You can’t blame Mayweather and his advertising agency for being selective about who they fight Tank because he makes so much money fighting an opponent that would basically be overturned most if not must be all top five 135 and 140 lb weight classes.

None of those warriors could be considered ‘big battle’ because they weren’t elite level people. Although Gamboa and Santa Cruz were elemental elite warriors, by the time the Davis Tank fought them, they were long gone.

Leonard Ellerbe: “Well, any fight the Tank is in is a big one,” Ellerbe said when asked about the possibility of Gervonta going up against Ryan Garcia or Devin Haney in 2022. “No disrespect. but the people you talk about are big fights, they do NOT have to have big fights.
“He [Gervonta] showed you again tonight, go to the West [to the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California] and another sell-off. There are levels to what he’s doing, but again we [Tank] will continue to fight the top guys out there.
“Everybody has to keep leveling up,” said Ellerbe as if he were coding for Tanks to continue battling the unknown, the old, and the secondary champion.
“I would love to see the Tank fight the biggest names right now, and anyone who continues to prove themselves. But the ones they say are the best out there, such as, I think Isaac Cruz is better than some of the people you’re talking about.
“Just because he has no name. What do you think about him? [Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz] such as did with Ryan Garcia, tonight? Here you are.
“But to answer your question, whatever the fans want, we will give them, but we will do it on our terms and I will continue to say it. According to OUR terms.

When you dissect what Ellerbe is saying, it appears that he is speaking in code that can only be decoded, meaning that the Davis Tank will NOT go up against any Yonko in the light detachment in 2022. .
