In an effort to assimilate American food culture with India, she created a unique dish called sabudana waffles, a cross between the Indian snack sabudana vada and breakfast waffles. popular in the US. While waffles are generally sweet, this dish is savory and tastes exactly like sabudana vada. In fact, the ingredients and methods are almost the same, only the cooking method is different. Instead of frying the sabudana mix, she cooks it in a waffle maker, giving it a firm and crunchy texture. The recipe video has 869k views and over 22k likes. Watch the video below:
