Sachin Tendulkar is one of the most famous and beloved cricketers of all time. Although the former captain of the Indian cricket team is now retired, his fans and followers never fail to check for updates on him. While we are all aware of his work on the pitch and unparalleled records, did you know that Sachin is also a true foodie at heart? Yes, that’s right and his social media is proof of that. Well, if this surprised you, then let us tell you, Sachin usually loves to cook and enjoys various delicacies. Recently, the former cricketer shared his love of Maharashtrian delicacy, misal pav.

Posting a video on his social media, Sachin Tendulkar can be seen gobbling up a delicious plate of pav misal. Sachin’s 25-second video includes the caption “Sunday or Monday, I’ll take Misal Pav any day! What’s your idea of a perfect breakfast?”
In the video, he can be seen adding a bit of lemon on top of Misal. Then he said, “Misal Pav ki kuch baat he alag hai (There is something different about the pav missal).” He added, “It reminds me of Khao Suey of Burma, but Maharashtra’s missal pav is the best.” Watch:
If you think this is the only Maharashtrian food that Sachin likes to have, think again! Before that, he also revealed how much he loves having his vada pav. He said, “I like my Vada Pav with red chili sauce, very little green chutney, and some Imli chutney to make the combination even better.” As Sachin keeps posting about his love of various delicacies, we’ve discovered that he also enjoys seafood and spends his time cooking!
