Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra appeared on Geekbench, equipped with Snapdragon 8 1st generation SoC
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has been spotted on Geekbench. This tablet is said to be the most advanced model in the upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 series. The new series will likely include three models, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, the Galaxy Tab S8+, and the Galaxy Tab S8. These three tablets are said to be codenamed Basquiat 3, Basquiat 2 and Basquiat 1 respectively. The upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 tablet series is equipped with a screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Rumor Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra was spot on Geekbench with model number SM-X906N. The listing suggests that the high-end model could be powered by the ‘Taro’ chipset, which is likely to be marketed as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, if the latest rumors are correct. Before that, it was supposed to be called Snapdragon 898 processor. Qualcomm will probably introduce it before the end of this year.
In addition to the processor, the Geekbench listing of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra also says the tablet could have 8GB of RAM. It is listed to launch on Android 12 software. On Geekbench, the high-end tablet scored 1,215 points in single-core and 3,159 points in multi-core.
Leaks in the past suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra Wi-Fi model is expected to cost KRW 1,469,000 (about Rs 95,500). The LTE variant can cost KRW 1,569,000 (about Rs 1.02) and the 5G variant can cost KRW 1,669,000 (about Rs 1.08).
