Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3 One UI 4 update reportedly suspended after major bugs
Samsung recently released the stable build of One UI 4 for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. However, it is reported that the update has been temporarily paused. This step was taken after a significant number of Samsung Galaxy Z smartphone users are reported to have experienced problems after installing the One UI 4 update. Samsung has started beta testing of the update. One UI 4 update in late October and the recently rolled out stable version is expected to be ready for a wider release.
A report by Android Community states that the update is far from stable and has been discontinued. Some users in Korea said that the update did Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphone. Many other users stated that Samsung the smartphone went into recovery mode after installing this update. Some of them also face issues like slow performance, apps not working, screen flickering, poor sound quality and more. There are reports of images being automatically removed from galleries. Others claim that the screen of their Samsung Galaxy Z smartphone is stuck at 60Hz refresh rate.
Earlier, SamMobile reported on December 7 that Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 4 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in Serbia. The Android 12based on One UI 4 which also comes with the December 2021 security patch. It has an improved user interface with newer widget designs. The update also comes equipped with enhanced stock Google and Samsung apps.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are part of the Korean tech giant’s line of foldable smartphones. The current generation of Galaxy Z smartphones was launched globally by Samsung in August 2021.
