Satya Nadella’s son Zain dies at 26 with cerebral palsy, Microsoft says
Microsoft Corporation said Zain Nadella, the son of CEO Satya and his wife Anu, passed away on Monday morning. He is 26 years old and has congenital cerebral palsy.
The software maker told its executives in an email that Zain had passed away. The message asked the executives to keep the family in their thoughts and prayers while giving them private space to grieve.
Since taking over as CEO in 2014, Nadella has focused the company on designing products to better serve users with disabilities and cites the lessons he has learned in nurturing and Zain support.
