Sea Of Thieves: Season 6 Trailer introduces small sea raiding sports, new pirate legend voyages, and more
Season 6 of Sea of Thieves will begin on March 10, and Rare Games has released a preview trailer for the new content that awaits the pirates in it.
The big new feature of Season 6 is the inclusion of six sea sports on the Sea of Thieves. Described by the team as a new “mini-raid” experience, these Sea battles can be attacked and looted at any time by yourself or the entire team. Regardless of who’s sailing with you, Rare says Sea Forts can be completed, so if you’re a solo player there’s no need to worry that you won’t be able to loot everything within the Sea Forts walls .
As you can see in the trailer above, the fortress looks much more formidable than the ones already on the Thieves Sea. Forts aims to bring players together, while Rare says Sea Forts aims to provide a personalized challenge for players.
Another new feature in Season 6 is the addition of Pirate Legend Voyages. These are replayable lore that will entrust you to uncover treasures with new maps, loot ship graveyards, and more. On top of that, Rare has released a 2022 timeline detailing what will happen in not just Season 6 but Seasons 7, 8, and 9, which will take players through all of 2022.
