SEBI urges investors to implement an online complaint settlement mechanism

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has recommended that investors file complaints through online mechanisms, especially through the SCORES portal and also the mobile app.
This said, this will lead to an efficient resolution of complaints. SCORES stands for SEBI complaint settlement system.
In addition, to raise awareness of the online claims settlement mechanism, SEBI has asked stock exchanges including commodity derivatives exchanges, custodians and clearing houses display a complaint option directly on the homepages of their websites and mobile apps.
Furthermore, they were instructed to display a link to the SCORES website as well as a link to download the SCORES mobile app on the homepages of their websites and mobile apps. them, according to the circular of SEBI.
SCORES is a claims settlement system launched in June 2011. It is a platform designed to help investors file online complaints with SEBI, related to the stock market, against firms, intermediaries and market infrastructure organizations.
