Sendero is the second stake winner for City of Light
Sendero became the second bet winner and the seventh overall winner for his first son City of light (Quality Sugar) with its first win at Jamestown S. at the Colonial Downs Wednesday. Sent off favorites 1-5, the flying pony rushes out of the gate and rushes to hit four-tablets down to a quarterback over a quarter in: 22.66. He ducked his head forward nearly to the ramp and bound while Bee Mountain chased him home in second place.
Sendero missed just a neck when he finished second in his debut on the same pitch and distance on July 18.
City of light was represented by his first bet winner over the weekend when Chop Chop beat Aristocrat Gaming Juvenile Fillies S. at the Kentucky Downs last Saturday.
Trishas Even has a longing pony by Omaha Beach. No horses have been reported this year, it was bred back to the Bolt d’Oro. Click to view Equibase.com chart or VIDEO sponsored by TVG.
