Show off and fireworks to open Russia-China border bridge
Russia and China have opened a new cross-border bridge, which builders say will cut the travel distance of Chinese goods to western Russia by 1,500 kilometers (930 miles).
Moscow is looking to increase trade with China after global sanctions hit the Russian economy in the aftermath of the Ukraine war.
Builders on the Russian side said vehicles crossing the bridge will have to pay a fee of 8,700 rubles (equivalent to 122 pounds).
