Simone Biles Wears ’00s-Inspired Jersey Halter Top
It’s like to have Simone Biles cheering for you? Just ask her fiancé, Jonathan Owens, whom Biles enjoys bathing with support, especially through her fashion choices. For example, on Monday night, the gymnast shared a snap of herself and Owens posing before a Texas game. Biles proudly shows off his team spirit by wearing his shirt number, 36, over a 2000s-inspired two-piece shirt with a cowl collar. Back in the early years, this popular silhouette was often referred to as the “outing shirt”.
Appropriately, Biles wears a palette of white and red (which is the color of the Texas team), down to her shoes. On top, she wears a white halter top with Owens’ number painted on the front. She styled the piece in white denim shorts, has become her style staple during the summer. A matching pair of red and white Nike sneakers topped off the ‘casual’ fit.
This latest piece of clothing is one of many that Biles has worn to cheer for her fiance, who acts as a safety guard for the Texans. Last month, she post a selfie mirror on Instagram while she was wearing a light blue tank with the word “36” on her chest. A few weeks ago, she wore a set of clothes energetic Texas cheerleader. And just last week, Biles showed off DIY bag which she created with both “Owens” and “36” written in glittery patches. Not only has this star gymnast mastered the art of dressing up for a date, she’s always managed to incorporate a bit of visual support to her plus points.
