‘SNL’ Brutally Roasts Trump’s Digital Trading Card ‘Scam’
Hot on my heels “big announcement” this week, Saturday night live’s Donald Trump (James Austin Johnson) kicked off the final episode of the year by sharing some of his digital trading cards that are only slightly more silly than they really are.
He explains: “The trump cards cost $99. “It seems like a lot, it seems like a scam and in many ways it is. But we love the Trump cards. You can also get them for free just by going online and looking at them, maybe, I don’t know, but we would really prefer it if you deposit $99.”
Soon after, his “least shy third child,” Donald Trump Jr. by Mikey Day, joined him. “These cards are amazing and a steal. And I know what you’re thinking. 99 dollars? You can get two grams for that!
Next is Cecily Strong who kicked her the last episode as an actor by quickly breaking her Kimberly Guilfoyle impression to announce her new Christmas album, “Now That’s What No One Calls Music.”
“What a terrible couple,” Trump said as they left the stage. Finally, he ended the sketch by performing one of his signature incoherent statements about Ron DeSantis, Grinch and Avatar among other unrelated topics that only his logic can connect.
