“I classify it as aggressive,” Curry said in his many late-game takeovers. “Obviously, shots have to have a drop, but it’s about having active attacks from picking and scrolling, getting others involved, painting and finishing, firing. A lot of the action. confidence has brought from our playoffs last year. It understands the balance of play and scoring.”
Curry has now scored at least 30 points in nine of his 11 games. At 34, he’s also the oldest player to score 40 consecutive points since Michael Jordan in 2002.
Kerr said: “He was amazing night after night. “Given the circumstances where our team is struggling, trying to dig a way out of the hole, he’s spectacular. He’s never been better, I can say.”
For the Warriors forward Blue Draymondwhat stands out most through Curry’s scorching start are the readings he’s doing.
Green pointed to an extended play on Friday night where Curry heard Cleveland coach JB Bickerstaff tell his adults to stay in the paint. Curry went to the Warriors bench and told his teammates to face the outside so he could drag the ball about halfway down the field.

“He’s setting all of this up,” Green said. “We have seen” [Curry do this] for years, but I think it’s the way he does it and the way he puts the boys in the positions he wants them to be in, that’s what impressed me. The development there is absolutely astounding.
“To notice all of that and actually get the exact shot you want and then do it is a whole other thing… to actually set it up and then execute is very impressive. .”
The Warriors (5-7) have counted on Curry to deliver such moments and performances all season. He has certainly shouldered the heavier burden of helping his team find any kind of success so far this year.
But as it stands, the Warriors don’t care about Curry’s fitness or workload.
“At the end of the day, Steph will shoulder most of the burden,” Green said. “That’s who he is and what he does.” “Now there’s no need to panic or get tired. But I think people are starting to find their rhythm and it’s all going to come together. It’s a process.”
Curry got help on Friday night from Andrew Wigginswho finished with 20 points; Jordan Poole, who after a rough start to the year scored 18 points; and two-way players Anthony Lambwho plus 10.
Kerr says Curry’s fitness and strength were the areas where he developed the most during his nine years at Golden State.
Curry doesn’t consider this the best he’s felt at the start of a season but says it’s more important to maintain the rhythm he’s had since the end of last season and carry on until now.
“Considering our struggles early on and how we managed to pull through as a team, it’s nice to know you can be in such big games to help keep us motivated. solid force,” Curry said. “We’ll see how long it lasts.”
