After Strategy bird her first career win on November 13 at Gulfstream Park by 12 3/4 length, it’s fair to ask how she could handle a challenge in the $50,000 Sandpiper Stakes on Dec. Tampa Bay Downs.
Florida Juvenile Breeds Answered the Question Clearly, Back Devine charger by the neck after a lengthy bout to win the fourth fastest Sandpiper in its 44 laps. She provided her neophyte sire, Noble Bird , with the winner of his or her first black bet.

“I tried not to rush into her too much because I knew she had a lot of natural speed,” Gallardo added. “She slowed down a bit and still put those fractions like nothing. Having a #1 was perfect, and after I gave her a chance to relax, she moved on and never gave up. the.”

Raised by the John Oxley Living Trust, Strategic Bird is beyond Afleet Alex mare Strategize . Two of her six ponies started and won. Among the uninitiated was a pony of Noble Bird.
The winner was TMC buying $40,000 from Royal Thoroughbreds consignment for Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company 2021 June 2 & Racing Age Horses, where she worked a quarter mile:21 leading up to the auction.

Chasing Happiness finished third in the 10-horse field, seven lengths behind the Devine Charger.
