Stuart Morris moves to Cardinal Hill
Stuart Morris, who suffered a stroke on Christmas Eve morning, was transferred to Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital, according to Carrie Brogden, who is updating his supporters through her GoFundMe page. established for him. Morris has been hospitalized for the past few days at the University of Kentucky’s Albert B. Chandler Hospital. Cardinal Hill specializes in rehabilitation after stroke, brain injury, and other complex neurological and orthopedic conditions.
Brogden said Morris is now able to move his paralyzed left arm slightly. The stroke also caused him to lose partial function of his left leg and slurred speech.
“He is here now [at Cardinal Hill]he really wants to get in on his therapy routine and work hard,” says his longtime girlfriend, Patty Mitchell.
Mitchell asked to limit calls and no visitors over the weekend as Morris adjusts to his new routine.
