Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Gameplay Debuts at The Game Awards
Rocksteady debuted the first gameplay trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League at The Game Awards. In it, we get to see how a group of unlikely villains pop up around Metropolis and how they deal with Brainiac’s hordes of mind-controlled soldiers and aging looking monstrosities. is different.
However, the scene did not go as planned. Debra Wilson’s Amanda Waller broke into the production and appeared on stage to present host Geoff Keighley on the classified disclosure. She still showed us the game despite the threats. I’m not sure why; I am not a security expert.
We got a great look at the Rangers’ mobility and combat in the extended trailer. Harley Quinn grapples with what looks like a flying batman flying through the air and circling the battlefield. Of course, she uses her trusty machine gun, explosives, and baseball bat in a fight. King Shark is shown climbing buildings and jumping from great distances, over the heads of enemies with his large shark’s mouth when he’s not mowing morons with sickness or mowing lawns with chains. Captain Boomerang can teleport using his boomerang, sliding and jumping twice to move quickly. He also holds a shotgun in his hand to work in front of a crowd. In the end, you will be surprised to know that Deadshot uses a lot of guns. Tons of them. But he also shows off his ability to fly around thanks to a dope jet bag.
We can also enjoy the story with Captain Boomerang taunting The Flash in a video, which predictably ends with him being tagged in the face by the scarlet speed plane. This might be the clearest look we’ve gotten of spoiled Barry Allen, and honestly, he might not feel so great. He has something purple going on in his eyes and face and seems really cranky. He could also be a Saiyan. We see that you have charged Kamehameha, Flash, and we are engaged.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is still scheduled for release sometime in 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
