“Take your loss like a man”
Via Allan Fox: Caleb Plant took to social media to boost Canelo Alvarez’s confidence after his loss to Dmitry Bivol last Saturday night.
Interestingly, Plant’s brief words of support for Canelo amassed a huge following on social media, following the former IBF super middleweight champion, reminding him of how much he has appeared to be seeking approval in the defeat to Alvarez last November.
It’s like a feeding frenzy from a school of hungry sharks with the way that critics had no idea where to start attacking Plant, leaving him with the mental breakdown he showed against Canelo.
Many boxing fans on social media were outraged when Plant (21-1, 12 KOs) chatted with Canelo in round 9, appearing to seek confirmation from the Mexican star about his talent. he.
Any words of comfort from Plant to Canelo would be futile salvation and it was impossible to undo how Bivol made contact with the Mexican star in a decisive 12-round loss at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Just suffer losses like a man, take it on the chin and return it. No excuses, no need for a BS, just go back to the lab.

“If you don’t face it, how can you get over it? and get better. Truth is truth, even if we don’t like it. Plant said.
It is unclear whether Plant’s words of comfort to Canelo were sincere or a way to talk to him in his weakest moments.
If Plant’s consolation for Canelo is unsatisfactory, some boxing fans will see it as a way to back the Mexican star to possibly find a way to give him an early rematch.
Sure, Plant made a lot of money fighting Canelo last November, making millions from that fight. A rematch will earn Plant the same amount, allowing him to move to expensive neighborhoods like Beverly Hills or Holmby Hills, California.
“I think many of you idiots really think that when I ask him, ‘I’m pretty good, aren’t I?’ You all really thought I was looking for approval, but I KNOW I’m a GREAT fighter, not a great fighter,” Plants said.
“He thought it was going to be a cake walk. So when that’s not the case, I want to HEAR HIS SAY,” Plants said of his fight with Canelo.
Plant needs to get back to work, because it’s May, and he hasn’t fought since his loss to Canelo in November. If Plant has any hope of rematching Canelo one day, he needs to put that defeat behind him and accept a challenge from David Benavidez.
