Ukraine’s security service, known as the SBU, said that military-grade weapons and equipment were found inside an abandoned warehouse near Kharkiv.
On Wednesday, the SBU press release said that more than 60 main battle tank engines, combat vehicle parts and 26 air-to-air missiles (R-73 and R-27R) were found inside. in storage in the Kharkiv region.
“The SBU has revealed a secret warehouse with military-grade ammunition, equipment for military vehicles worth $200 million in the Kharkiv region,” the news release said.

According to preliminary reports, spare parts are available for damaged Russian vehicles that the invaders will repair at Kharkiv’s production facilities. As a result, Russia planned to use Ukraine’s second largest city as a “transshipment base” for an attack deeper into Ukrainian territory.
It was also noted that a large number of spare parts and components for armored vehicles were placed in 10 wagons to move quickly.
The SBU believes that the equipment found at this warehouse was previously stolen from military arsenals. And on the eve of an all-out invasion, the owners of the warehouse would cooperate with the occupying force and provide equipment for the enemy’s needs.
