New from Motorola Moto E40 Join the ranks on our list of the best phones under Rs. 10,000. Motorola’s latest addition offers a high refresh rate display, large battery, and clean Android experience. Introducing a good smartphone at Rs has always been a challenge. 10,000 segment because manufacturers often have to make a lot of sacrifices to price their phones this low. The Micromax In 2b remains one of the few recent launches that strike a good balance between performance, design, and price. There is also the Realme C25, the successor to the C15, which is a good upgrade in this segment.

Motorola Moto E40
NS Moto E40 is Motorola’s latest offering in the Rs segment. 10,000 segments. It offers good hardware and decent performance for causal use. The Unisoc T700 SoC is suitable for everyday applications, but won’t be suitable if you frequently switch to more demanding tasks like video editing. Heavy apps and games also take longer than usual to load. However, there’s a lot to like about this phone, such as the 90Hz display, clean and bloat-free Android experience, and good battery life. Its main shortcomings are slow charging and average camera performance, which is no exception for a phone at this price point.
Micromax in 2b
NS Micromax in 2b It may not be the right fit for all deals, but it’s good at the basics, which increases its value compared to some competing smartphones. The back of the phone is made of plastic but is realistic in design and doesn’t stick to fingerprints and doesn’t smudge. Its screen is bright enough and displays good colors, keeping in mind its entry-level price. The Unisoc T610 SoC in the phone turned out to be a pretty decent performer, for a phone in this segment. The camera performance is weak, but the battery life and software experience are very good, making this a serious contender in the segment.
Realme C25
NS Realme C25 It’s not trying to set new records, but compared to its predecessor the C15, it has some much-needed upgrades in terms of USB Type-C ports and a faster MediaTek Helio G70 SoC. It has a solid plastic monolithic block, chubby but easy to hold. Battery life is also very good. Camera performance is decent and seems good enough for a phone designed to serve people who simply want to run apps and get their day-to-day work done. Overall, the Realme C25 will appeal to those on a tight budget and those who want better battery life than anything else.
Moto E7 Plus
NS Moto E7 Plus is another low-cost product from Motorola. It is priced at Rs. 9,499 and packs in some good specs. Moto E7 Plus is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor, combined with 4GB of RAM. It has a 6.5-inch display with HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch at the top.
Motorola offers a 5,000mAh battery but sadly, this phone doesn’t have a USB Type-C port and has a Micro-USB port instead. The camera is capable of taking good pictures in daylight conditions. Using Night mode, the Moto E7 Plus also took some pretty good low-light photos.
The Moto E7 Plus offers an almost clean Android user interface, which is uncommon at this price point. If you like a simple, easy-to-use interface, then the Moto E7 Plus can do it. The Moto G9 and Moto G10 Power are decent alternatives.
Realme Narzo 30A
NS Narzo 30A was launched in early 2021 and is the latest in the Narzo series from Realme. The phone is priced at Rs. 8,999 and offers good value. It has a refreshing design with a square camera module as well as a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The screen size is 6.5 inches wide but it only has HD + resolution.
The Narzo 30A is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and is available in two variants. The base variant has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage while the higher variant has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. This phone runs the Realme UI on top of Android 10.
You get a dual-camera setup on the Narzo 30A that delivers good photos in daylight, but camera performance in low light is below average. If you love taking selfies, the Realme Narzo 30A will satisfy you. The large battery also helps deliver excellent battery life, but it comes at the expense of being a bit big and bulky.
