The Details: Leigh Wood vs. Josh Warrington
LEIGH WOOD and Josh Warrington have been on one another’s radar over the last couple of years and on Saturday night (October 7) their paths shall cross.
Britain’s involvement on the world featherweight scene has been led by Warrington since 2018; before Wood joined the higher echelons of the 126lbs division in 2021. With Mauricio Lara a common opponent, Wood and Warrington have also between them fought the likes of Can Xu, Michael Conlan, Carl Frampton, and Luis Alberto Lopez.
On Saturday the Sheffield Arena has the responsibility of staging the Nottingham (Wood) vs. Leeds (Warrington) battle and everyone, both in attendance and watching at home, hopes the fighting will stay inside the ring.
Boxing News brings you all the information you need ahead of an all-British world title fight, a combination which rarely disappoints.
