There's a social network sequel in the works

Aaron Sorkin—who wrote the script for the 2010 film—shared that he's working on a sequel, revealing that he's trying to write a script about Facebookin connection with the January 6 attack on the United States Capitol.
Hinting at his thesis for the film, Sorkin said in a presentation. Recorded live on April 26 belong to Town podcast, “I Blame Facebook for January 6th.”
“Facebook, among other things, has adjusted its algorithm to promote the most divisive material possible,” he continued. “Because that's what's going to increase engagement. That's what's going to get you into—what they call in the hallways of Facebook—'the endless scroll'.”
Sorkin did not share whether the sequel would involve the original stars Andrew Garfield, Jesse Eisenberg, Military hammer And Justin Timberlake.
The west wing The creator went on to note that social media platforms must battle a “constant tension” between “growth and integrity.”
