This joystick upgrade kit can solve your Joy-Con Drift woes
If you are a Nintendo Switch owners, you may have heard of The infamous Joy-Con Drift. An ongoing issue with Joy-Con’s signature controller for Nintendo’s hybrid console.
Thankfully, gaming peripheral maker GuliKit recently released a new joystick upgrade kit that not only allows you to replace the joysticks on your Joy-Cons, but also claims that you will Never have to worry about Joy-Con drifting again.
As discovered by Gizmodo, The GuliKit Hall Joystick has a pair of replacement joysticks for your Joy-Con controllers. The company notes that the joystick is Hall Effect, meaning the joystick uses a magnetic system, so it doesn’t touch other components inside the controller, which will cause parts to wear out. over time after long time use.
GuliKit previously tried to fix the problem by releasing its own third-party Pro controller, the King Kong Pro 2. Other companies, such as NYXI, recently announced a new controller like Nintendo Wavebird and promises third-party Joy-Cons won’t drift when using the Hall Effect joystick.
