Just make sure to use olive oil Fresh and high quality, because it’s really the central flavor.
This exceptional olive oil cake, adapted from the classic Mina Stone recipe, is dense, spongy and perfectly seasoned with cinnamon and cloves. It’s delicious any time of year, but the orange/clove combo also makes it perfect for the holidays. The best part about this cake is that it’s not too sweet, which can be overwhelming after a big meal.
