Tousled Topknot Tutorial – A Beautiful Mess
I’m always on the lookout for easy styles that can add volume or height to my hair (if you have hair that also tends to fall, you totally understand the struggle!).
I discovered last summer that the top half topknot is really a great way to add some height to the top (duh!) And by adding easy waves to the bottom half you get a More massive combinations without taking much time to complete. Are you ready to learn topknot with cubes?Start by curling your hair with a curling iron with a larger barrel (at least 1 1/2 ) or a curling wand (I love this curling iron).
I like to wrap my hair around the barrel starting from the inside and working out to the outside as you see above. It seems to create a more natural beach wave if you ask me. Set your top 3-4 inches wide into a super high ponytail and pull tight.Use one teasing brush Tie your small ponytail back from root to tip to add volume to your bun.Lightly twist your tangled ponytail (twisting too tight will reduce your volume potential)… … And wrap around the base of the ponytail as many times as you want to create a top bun. Pin in place with bobby pins.Use a few sprays Hairspray to keep your bun and waves in place, and you’re ready to go! Easy, right? Depending on your hair type and texture, you may have to try different wand sizes to find the perfect curl (too small can be “too curly” and too big won’t hold the curls). hair for me), but once you find your perfect medium, you’re good to go!
