Travis Kelce says Taylor Swift’s appearance at Chiefs game was ‘awesome’
Travis Kelce sure appreciates Taylor Swift for coming to cheer him on this past weekend.
After Swift broke the internet by sitting beside Kelce’s mom in a suite for the Kansas City Chiefs’ blowout win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday, the tight end commented on the megastar’s appearance for the first time on his podcast.
“Shout out to Taylor for coming through and seeing me rock the stage,” Kelce said on “New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce.”
Kelce did not confirm or deny the two are in a relationship.

“My personal life, that’s not so personal. I did this to myself Jason, I know this,” Kelce said with a smile.
“I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her. The friends and family. She looked amazing, everybody was talking about her in great light. On top of that, the day went perfect for Chiefs fans, of course. We script it all, ladies and gentlemen. To see the slow-motion chest bumps, to see the high fives with mom, to see how Chiefs Kingdom was all excited she was there, that (expletive) was absolutely hysterical. It was definitely a game I’ll remember that’s for damn sure.”
Kelce then noted how video caught the two leaving the stadium.
“We just slid off in the getaway car at the end,” he said.
Kelce also said he had a good laugh at New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick saying Monday that his newfound connection with Swift is the best catch he’s ever made.
Kelce also commented on Chiefs coach Andy Reid, who deadpanned at the post-game press conference that he set the two up.
“You’ve got coach Reid telling everybody he’s Cupid,” a grinning Kelce said.
Kelce said Reid actually has met the Swift family in the past.
“Who knew Cupid was so big?” Kelce said.
