Tre’Davious White leaves Buffalo Bills game against New Orleans Saints with knee injury
NEW ORLEANS – Buffalo Bills hidden corner Bamboo’s white skin was ruled out after suffering a knee injury in the second quarter of Thursday’s team’s game against Saints.
White was one of the team’s best defensive players and was a significant loss for a unit that had almost returned to normal. Backup Dane Jackson replace him with Buffalo at 10-0.
As White is the closest defender this season, the All-Pro corner allows for a 50.8% completion rate and a 58.9 pass rate, both fourth among defensive defenders with over 50 goals this season, according to NFL Next Gen Stats.
In a quarter and a half against the Saints, White was targeted once, not allowing reception. The injury happened while he was covering the wide stethoscope Marquez Callaway. After hobbling off the field, he revealed a frustrated look on the sidelines before being checked into the team medical tent and then into the locker room.
