TRF Annual Good Driving In Progress
The Skilled Retirement Foundation (TRF) received a matching gift of $60,000 from the Santulli Family Foundation to launch its 2022 Hay Drive. Richard and Peggy Santulli will combine every dollar donated to TRF up to $60,000 for this campaign. TRF’s goal for Hay Drive in 2022 is $120,000 to cover the cost of hay for the nearly 450 old racehorses currently in care around the country.
TRF’s Drive is one of the most important campaigns for the organization and will be driven by direct mail, email and social media as well as individual donation requests. The Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2023, is the oldest domesticated rescue organization in the country.
“With economic shifts causing a significant impact on hay prices, preparing for the coming winter is more important than ever,” said Jessica Paquette, TRF’s Director of Communications and Annual Funds. end. “We are grateful for the continued support of the Santulli family and from donors large and small across the country.”
Last year, with the help of the Santulli Family Foundation, TRF surpassed its $120,000 goal and the organization hopes that this year’s response will be equally successful.
